Let me explain how they are busted:

For the 2nd time I am being abused by high profile international marketing material with fake products.

The companies promoting these products stole my photos (see my pic at bottom of advert) and again they write up a fake story as if I told it. Be very wary everyone, these products are FAKED (1285 MUSCLE and TRIG X2) and does NOT work.

They have to steal photos and write fake stories to try and prove a unprovable point.

You will loose money when you deal with these people.

  1. So I come home from being out of town for a long time. To find eight bottles of extreme muscle recovery and eight bottles of 1285 muscle both I didn’t order. both sent to a different address than what my address is. Somehow they found their way to me may because post office knew my name. Apparently they been charging me $100 a month that I had no idea it was coming out of my account. Call both companies both companies told me they would only reimburse me for one month. Both companies eventually repaid me for three months. I kept asking for the managers manager’s manager and no one would give me their name or number. They wouldn’t even give me the corporate office phone number. They all said the same thing how do I know I’m not lying but if eight bottles were supposed to be sent and there’s eight unopened still in the packaging why wouldnt they take them back. How is it even close to being illegal to steal money out of someone’s account without them knowing or given the okay for something they did not order. Anyone?

  2. Thanks so much for being apart of this and opening our eyes to these scams. I got a hold of the number and demanded from their supervisors that they take me off their subscription within the 14 day trial period. I also informed my bank to block any requests from this company and its affiliates.
    I am still early in my goal for more mass because my body consists of lean muscle and barely any fat. I will be following your site for tips and workout routines but I mainly do my working out at home and have built a home gym. If you have any suggestions or other advice that could help leaner guys like me that would be great.

    2. Oh and leaner guys…simply a matter of upping the calorie intake wisely to provide the fuel for muscle growth. You are lean because of a high metabolism, ie: burning much energy. When your body receives the correct amount of calories coupled with a solid training regime, you WILL grow! G.

  3. I stupidly ordered the stuff thinking “hey it’s a free trial, why not?” then they tried to charge me again for another supply but my card luckily declined the charges. Does this company just keep charging and charging or do they eventually stop? Or do I have to call them and tell them to stop the charges. What do I do in this situation?

    1. Tristan, the advice some other people gave that were in the same situation is to cancel your card at the bank and get a new one. Then they are forced to stop the deductions. It seems they just keep on charging you until eventually your card expires or is cancelled! Hope u come right! G.

      Sorry to heat the buggers got u! And yip it is illegal but it is very difficult to make a case against them. The mother company never deal directly in the products but they create temporary marketing companies with short life spans through which they deal. These companies lifespans are just a few months to make it as difficult as possible for the consumer to trace and make a case.
      And if u try to sue the mother company then they just say they had nothing to do with it. it was the marketing company who by now has disappeared. Real bad!
      I also have not heard of a single person so far who has been successfully refunded…

  6. I was headed to get my wallet for this too good to be true trial offer. When I realized there was no talk of subscription or actual full sized cost. So I googled the name 1285 muscle looking for an official website. Only to find this trial stuff over and over. Finally stumbling upon this, has opened up my eyes. Thank you so much. I could have justified the shipping cost with my wife, but she would have killed me over this scam.

      I understand mate…I am married too!
      I am soooo wary now of ANY supplement marketed ONLY via internet…t is the surest way it is a scam. Just check it out very well. Best bet is to only buy from a physical store where they only stock non-scam products because they have to regularly face their clients and keep them happy. These internet companies only want to function via internet because it is a sufficient faceless environment where they do not have to face clients month after month. They only want to get their hooks into your credit card. Sounds harsh, but that is the harsh reality.

I was just reading that same Men’s Health article, except when I compare it to the one posted here, TrigX2 has been replaced by XM Recovery, and blogger Jack Evans was supposedly from Toronto, not London. The before and after pics at the bottom of the article are also of a completely different (and probably more relatable) person… Lack of consistency = red flags!

  8. Dude.. Thank god I came across your blog. Saw some ads in Facebook and Twitter sayin this product works and stuff. To be honest I kinda fell for it at first. I nearly ordered it through their website but I decided to do a lil research coz it sounds kinda fishy.

    Turns out d research I that I did opened up my eyes. Comments n complaints is all they have. And yeah, its sounds too good to be true. So back to the old method of being healty. Eat lotsa healthy food, BCAA’s and head to the gym. Thanx again buddy. ✌️😎

Had entered my contact info. but not credit card, and within 1 minute of closing their ordering web page I got a phone call from 561 FL area code, didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a mssg, but assuming it was this company (I don’t answer if I don’t recognize the number). I’m 45 and back to a diet and exercise plan that’s resulting in more energy and reduced waistline, the old fashioned discipline method. Will check out your blog. Thx, Bruce

Eish man, believe me I fully understand the urge to find a magic pill….at over 40 everything is just a bit more difficult and painfull, but alas there are no magic pill. Supplements can slightly help the process but it is “supplements” and can never substitute for hard training, good diet and rest for growth….it is these basics that counts for 95% and the subs at best for about 5%. And then it is only the proven ones – BCAA’s, L-Glutamine, Creatine.

Jason, The only way these people “sell” their product to you, is by creating a monthly debit order that will go off month after month from your credit card and it is very difficult to stop this deduction. Most people have to cancel completely their credit card to stop it. They have to resort to stealing photos and make up lie stories to try and proof that their product work. This product will have no (!) effect. They have to sell it only by internet because the only way to escape law suites is through such a faceless medium. PLEASE stay away, u gonna loose money! G.

  12. I just ordered this yesterday but I messed up an typed in the wrong security code from my card. Called their customer service they said it went through but idk how if I entered the wrong info . I haven’t been charged yet since I just ordered it yesterday idk what to do know wish I would’ve seen this sooner . Am I going to get scammed by these ass holes now too?

    1. I think you might be lucky. Without the security code these of your card they cannot authorise a deduction. If they do, the way I understand, then your bank has to refund you because it unapproved deduction from your account which was not authorised by you. Wish u a great day. G.

I sure wish i would of found this first unfortunately i got hit by this scam but its not that it dont work its that i been waiting over amonth for the trial when i called intoday to track it since the tracking number they gave me dont work on thedhl site but they have extremely rude customerservice i just asked the guy to check my order for me and he told me my account was cancelled due to a failed transaction im like transaction for what i havent even got my sample yet after waiting over a month they charged me for a bottle that i havent even got a sample of yet that really pisses me off after trying to explain that i took the money out of my acc due to the bank calling me and saying theres been fraudulant activitys so i took the money out and then they tryed to charge me for a new bottle but like i said i didnt get the first one yet how you gonna charge me for somthing when i havent even got the sample yet i tryed to talk to the supervisor and explain what happend he went on to say i costed the company money and accused me of getting the product and saying i didnt get it to stal and cause the company to lose money then proceeded to say im dumb and that i wasnt absorbing angthing he was saying then yelled a bit more and hung up on me he wouldnt even send a replacement for the bottle i never got so i called back and talked to somone else to try and get it tracked turns out it got sent back to them risk free my ass thanks for putting this up this info is better late then never fyi i think the fraudulent activity came from them since the card i used is usually only for cell phone bill house tax payment and the google store but ya im going thrugh the fraud department at the bank sucks and im unsure if ill ever get my 840$ back

  14. How do we know it is fake? Have you seen someone try it? Obviously you are not a good test subject because you are already ripped. The reasons you gave are circumstantial. I have found more good reviews than bad ones. Could you get proof either way?

    1. Many good products out there bud…but the problem is everyone is looking for a miracle product and there are none (bar anabolics and hgh with potential serious side effects).
      NONE of the products with these miracle claims works…not even in the least.
      The only products that produce real results are the basic ones: Creatine, L-Glutamine, BCAA’s, Whey Protein powder, ZMA and good anti oxidants (ALA, CoEnxzyme Q10, Green Tea extract, etc.) Testosterone boosters have a very small impact on your testosterone levels. A lot of money for close to zero effect. You cannot substitute hard training/diet/rest with a magic pill. Even anabolics only really work in CONJUNCTION with hard training and focussed diet. I have spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on fancy supplements until I eventually realized this from experience. Hope this helps? Wish u MUCH success. G.

G, after 20 years of collegiate strength and conditioning and personal training, a masters degree in exercise physiology, nearly 10 years of competitive olympic weightlifting, and piles of research, I would almost completely agree with you. I would take whey protein and all other protein powders off the list. Not because they don’t work but because in my experience, an equal amount of protein from meat actually works MUCH better. In my experience during competition seasons, it took 3-5 times the protein from powders (even the really expensive pharmaceutical grade ones) to get the same recovery as I did with meat. That was 10+ years ago, today there is research confirming it in that slow digesting proteins yield the best increases in muscle mass using equal protein amounts.

      2. Jeremy – u are spot on mate and I do not disagree with you at all. Nothing substitutes solid protein sources. But for those people like me with hectic run around lifestyles protein shakes is the only tool allowing us to get a large degree of success with bodybuilding. If I had the time (or enough wives!) I most definately would prefer the solid protein to shakes for bodybuilding. Keep training hard bud. Gert

      “Hey guys and gals there is a super fast way I have done myself to stop getting charged by these fraudulent companys… if you used your bank card to purchase anything like this and see recurring charges, I called the bank and had them cancel my card first and then issue me another with a new number. I have also reported it stolen and canceled so that when the company tries to use it,, it makes them look like thieves.. it doesnt bother me bc they are theives and liars!! Haha I just wanted everyone to know how to get help fast especially if you are going to have to pay it anyway.. much faster than opening a claim!

      All these new super products popping up is scam stuff,,,nearly all of them is advertised with stolen photos.

  21. I ordered the product and I’m USUALLY very careful about what I order things but they got me. They advertised a “Risk Free Trial” and I read the information they presented during the ordering processes and I did NOT see anything about a 14 day trial and auto-enrolement. Plus they wanted me to send the product back to get a refund. Lame! I can go into a store and buy products that work for 1/3 the price (they charged $99.99 on day 14). But why? They sent me a 30 day supply initially and they didn’t send me anything new when they charged me the additional $99.99.

      1. Cant tell you how happy I am I read this first. You made me do a double take of the photos, and while I gotta tell you it almost dosent look like you in that last pic compared with the ones you showed (but yes I believe you, you just look younger) that “16lbs of muscle” your impostor “gained?? no freakin way. I have gained 16lbs of muscle before, and that “transformation” as they call it in that particular pic, the guy on the right easily has 40lbs+ of muscle on him compared to the guy on the left. I was looing into it as I have been off for almost a year now from an injury. Im back to normal now, but I have put back on my fat and gone from 9%body fat at 188 back down to me “natural” 170 with a belly (no fat on me, Id be somewhere around 155 Im guessing, thats how I was when i got out of the hospitol. But I was looking for new nitric boosters on the market and everyone was talking about this one. I should just do what I did before, vitamins and protien, worked well the first time, but I think I might follow your page my friend, your about where I want to be.

Anyway – thanx for the compliments. ALL my knowledge and hard work with tips and tricks is contained within this blog…it can really help the person that is serious about it to get of the ground much quicker without all the “growing pains”.
